Welcome to the Wearforge Wearables Wiki! This is an interactive, collaborative, discussion-oriented, user-editable web site centered around wearable computing, its technologies and its implications.

It's currently divided into six areas:

Wearsoft Wearsoft is for discussing wearable computing software and software development. From operating systems to applications, methodologies to user interfaces, all is welcomed.
Wearhard Wearhard is for discussing wearable computing hardware platforms and peripherals. Feel free to explore industrial and embedded standards, custom components, and more.
Wearfore Wearfore is for discussing the less tangible aspects of wearable computing. From general discussion of needs and features, to political and social ramifications, if it's materially non-material, it should be here.

There are also the three system-level areas:

  • Main is the current area, primarily with this home page and the list of users;
  • TWiki contains documentation on the wiki system the site is built on, as well as user registration (so you can edit pages and otherwise contribute content), changing your password, and requesting a password reset (in case you forgot your password);
  • and the Test area allows you to play with the various features of the wiki system without worrying about breaking the rest of the site. Feel free to experiment there.
