  • yatm.el - Yet Another Text Menu is a replacement for tmm, the text mode menu in Emacs. It doesn't handle all the possible menu item types yet, but it's easier to use with Emacspeak than the old text menu was. Available at http://richip.dhs.org/~sachac/notebook/emacs/yatm.el

Emacs

Here are some ways to make Emacs a little more wearable-friendly. Add your notes here!

  • remember.el - a mode for quickly jotting down text to remember. remember.el pops up a buffer so that you can jot down notes, and saves the timestamped data to ~/.notes after you hit C-c C-c. After a busy day, I go over my ~/.notes and organize the data into a coherent outline. remember.el is available from http://www.gci-net.com/users/j/johnw/Emacs/remember.el.
