Overview

The IBM Microdrive is a CompactFlash format hard drive. It can be used in appropriate CF slots, but it is not CompactFlash - it is an actual miniaturized hard drive.

At this writing, there are three flavors of IBMMicrodrive:

• 340 MB
• 512 MB
• 1 GB

The 1 GB drive has several improvements over the 340 (don't know much about the 512), like much better power management.
