You're in Wearforge -> Wearsoft -> MiscSoftware

Obviously everyone isn't a fan of Emacs and most window managers are overkill or highly unoptimied for wearable computers. Therefore an alternative needs to exist. The options are to create a new window manager, to create a new windowing system or run mostly in text mode.

Below are a few of the options I've found.

  • Berlin - Berlin is a new windowing system based on fresco.
  • There is a so far unnamed set of tools being prepared by a few of us, currently in pre-alpha versions. This will be a VERY lightweight windowing system with an integrated set of tools suitible for wearables.
  • Sulawesi is a framework for input and output using different devices.
